WINE STORY: “The flagship wine of Tenuta San Leonardo, a great Bordeaux style blend of refined elegance. Its vines up to 60 years old provide great personality. The palate San Leonardo is a skilful blend of wines from three grapes that are fermented and aged separately: 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc,15% Carménère and 10% Merlot. Before it goes into bottle, the precise proportions of the blend are decided only after rigorous tasting of samples, barrique by barrique.”
